Director of Communications
Native Midwesterner Dara Issa has been part of the Atlanta Face & Body team since her early days as Client Care Coordinator. Today, she works with the team to manage the marketing, plan educational events and build and launch new treatment options for our beloved clients. Plus, if you see something with the Atlanta Face & Body’s Fab logo on it or maybe an invitation to visit the office, have a signature drink and learn about a new treatment option, chances are Dara was the one who made that happen!
Prior to joining Atlanta Face & Body, Dara served as an account development manager for Jan Marini® skincare. In that role, she developed a wealth of knowledge about pharmaceutical grade skincare and built invaluable skill sets in helping aesthetic practices grow through marketing, promotion, and strategic problem-solving.
During that time, Dara worked with Atlanta Face & Body and, among many initiatives, put together an editorial package profiling Dr. Elizabeth with one of the premier industry magazines. “I received a call from our company’s leadership team, excited about the magazine partnership with her,” Dara explains. “I was delighted to learn from him how highly regarded Dr. Elizabeth is nationwide as one of the premier doctors setting the standards for excellence in aesthetics!”
“Over time, I built a working relationship with Dr. Elizabeth and her team that eventually evolved to my joining Atlanta Face & Body. She is simply amazing at cultivating relationships,” Dara continues, “She is so warm and welcoming. She nurtures a work culture that focuses on clients’ needs. For example, we are committed to bringing in the most advanced technologies, like FaceTite, or the latest injectables, as well as reaching out to younger generations to educate them on preventing signs of early aging.”
As one of those proactive members of a younger generation, Dara’s personal favorite treatment right now is Microneedling with PRP. “After my second treatment, I just couldn’t stop saying, Look at my skin!”
Dara came to aesthetics from the health care field. She finished her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Georgia State University while working as an orthopedic technician at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. In that position, she triaged patients and supported the medical staff in a high-volume, acute environment.
It was while working at the pediatric center that her dream of becoming a Physician’s Assistant was born, a dream she looks to follow. For now, she relishes her busy days with clients at Atlanta Face & Body, being the mother of a young boy and wife to an Atlanta attorney (and pro racing team driver in his spare time). She and her family love traveling, snowboarding, and hanging out with their friends.
Dara is ready to tell you more about the many reasons to choose Atlanta Face & Body!
