The Liquid Facelift is a popular option to restore fullness and provide a “lifting” effect in the cheek area without the need for any incisions. What is the recovery like with a Liquid Facelift procedure?
A Liquid Facelift takes about an hour to perform from start to finish and is generally tolerated well by the majority of patients. A numbing agent or cooling device is often used to help make your experience as comfortable as possible. While there is generally less bruising with liquid facelifts as compared to more invasive options, you may still experience some mild bruising immediately following the procedure. Bruising is more likely if the fillers are injected around the eyes. Some mild discomfort, swelling, and redness can also occur after the procedure but usually subside quickly in a couple of days. There is minimal, if any, downtime needed and most patients resume their daily activities the same day as their procedure.
What results can I expect from a Liquid Facelift?
Most people notice immediate results after their Liquid Facelift treatment with continued improvement in the following days. The duration of results depends on factors such as the type and amount of filler used and the location of the injections. Generally, you can expect results to last anywhere from 6 to 24 months.
