Veronica is often the first smiling face you encounter when you arrive for your appointment at Atlanta Face & Body. As our dedicated Patient Care Liaison, she is crucial in welcoming patients, managing the check-in and check-out process, addressing inquiries, and ensuring that every individual has a comfortable experience.
Originally from Silsbee, Texas and having spent some time in Beaumont, Veronica embraced life in the Lone Star State for many years. However, when her sister relocated to Atlanta, Veronica recognized it was time for her to make a change and move as well. Although the transition was initially challenging, she quickly fell in love with the city. After more than two decades in Atlanta, she confidently claims her status as an honorary native.
With extensive experience in patient services, Veronica has honed her skills in the medical field for years. Previously, she excelled as a front office coordinator at Piedmont Cancer Institute, where she efficiently greeted patients, managed their check-ins and check-outs, and scheduled various treatments and CT scans.
When the opportunity for the Patient Care Liaison position at Atlanta Face & Body became available, Veronica seized it. Transitioning from a conventional medical setting to the aesthetic field was a refreshing change she eagerly embraced.
“People go through transformative phases in life and often seek change,” she said. “Aesthetics empowers them to achieve the look they desire and enhances their self-esteem. It’s incredibly rewarding. Facelift patients, in particular, are thrilled with their results. Witnessing their joy is a highlight of my role.”
Veronica’s enthusiasm extends beyond surgical patients; she also takes pride in the satisfaction of clients who choose nonsurgical treatment options. She has her own go-to favorites.
“I have a strong passion for neurotoxins and the Skinwave facial,” she said. “I personally experience these treatments, and they are outstanding. The Skinwave facial rejuvenates my skin, leaving it feeling fresh and revitalized. Together, neurotoxins and Skinwave treatments help me maintain a youthful appearance.”
While her own refreshed look is gratifying, it is the connections she forms with patients and coworkers that truly define her role at Atlanta Face & Body.
“I thrive on working with patients, hearing their stories, and understanding their motivations for coming here,” she explains. “My colleagues and I enjoy engaging with each other and with our patients. We meet a diverse array of people, and as a small business, we cultivate a strong sense of family.”
In her downtime, Veronica dedicates time to her daughter and granddaughter. She also prioritizes attending church, taking short trips, and enjoying visits to Avalon in Alpharetta to shop, dine, and unwind.
